What does that mean then?
So far all that has been introduced is the Reggio Emilia Approach- and you are probably wondering what it means for the Cognitive and Physical developmental sections of this curriculum, if the social development is based on the Reggio philosophy. This is what it means:
The other two sections, mentioned above, are based primarily from traditional, conventional, structural ways of teaching. All of which work just as good as any other method or approach. The Cognitive Development aims toward a focus of different activities that can be done to teach children different concepts, through the views of the theorist Jean Piaget. The Physical Development page has a focus on the different activities that can be done to ensure physical development of muscles and motor skills. The activities and guidelines for the physical development section of this curriculum are based off of this site and its regulations. http://www.pecentral.org/
We each hope you enjoy your exploration of our cite!
